This ethos underpins every decision, shaping a brand built on sustainability, ethical production, circularity and a commitment to slowing down. CAK created a deliberately restrained design system that places garments and materials at the forefront. Typography, iconography and illustration are treated as supporting elements, quiet, considered and unobtrusive. It does not mean the product is recyclable and is causing widespread confusion, resulting in huge amounts of recycling contamination. An ovalish brand mark was created and accompanied by a contemporary serif wordmark. The circles in the brandmark represent contributions made, these dots create a circular-like form when joined together. This shape was the basis for the brand’s playful design language. SOR is working hard to be part of a circular economy.A wordmark and circular brandmark were created to work alongside the genius of the sponge ‘The actual ingredients. The secret recipe was microscopically shot and used as the brand’s design language – this showed the science behind the product.Technical illustrations, graphic patterns, and clean Swiss typography accompanied these elements with a mixture of land and sea-based photography, shot with an elevated view that represented the world they are saving and the scale of the problem. The three lines in the brand’s design language not only represented Trifold, but each line also represented parts of the healing - ‘Sound, Frequency and Vibrational Healing.’ When used together, they become more than the sum of their parts - hence the name. The Tibetan colour palette used is tied back to the roots of this ancient healing practice, while a holographic foil was added into the mix to speak for the cosmic nature of the healing.
